The Strategic Brand Plan is the blueprint for all of your marketing efforts. Would you ever consider building a house without a blueprint? Then you also should not consider building your marketing efforts without a strategic brand plan.
Start with strategy. This plan should not just be a regular old marketing plan, but a strategic one. Starting with the strategy means you are focusing on all of the really important foundation stuff. Dig deep to outline the strategic options and determine the best path forward.
Then conquer the brand part. How will you build an emotional connection with your target audience? Remember that branding is in the heart of the beholder. Tell stories that will connect and engage with them. That does not mean a list of features, so focus on your benefits and be sure to differentiate yourself from the competition.
Now, the plan itself. It’s too hard to just stare at a blank screen and pray for inspiration. Instead of putting that pressure on yourself every day, creating this plan will provide actual opportunities for growth. If you do the same thing you’ve always done, then you will continue to get the same results. But, if you want to implement a real growth strategy, then you will have to do something new. Let this strategic brand plan serve as that catalyst for growth.
