As a non-profit home health provider, Evangeline Home Health was facing stiff completion from major corporations moving into the communities they served. Those corporations were starting to overcome the local providers, many being shut down or bought out. Without the deep pockets to go head to head with traditional advertising and the referral base being more or less owned by the competition, it was vital to create awareness and get the attention of the target audience, potential patients and their spouses and children.
After a thorough brand assessment, a brand evolution with messaging to emotionally engage the audience was executed focused on their loyal and compassionate staff with a rapid response to patient needs and outcomes as an extension of the hospital into the patients’ home. In order to change the conversation, a thought leadership campaign was developed that would create community exposure Evangeline Home Health and provide outlets to share their deep knowledge and caring.
With a renewed passion and a clear brand strategy, appointments increased along with revenues and overall market share.
