Schools of the Sacred Heart
In Grand Coteau, Louisiana, there is a 200-year-old Catholic School for girls called Academy of the Sacred Heart and a brand new all-boys school on the same campus called Berchmans Academy; both part of the Sacred Heart Global Network of parochial schools. The schools are exceptional institutions, but were failing to gain the consideration from parents in a nearby city of 280,000.
RUSSO assessed that the identities and website did not properly convey the advantages of attending the Schools of the Sacred Heart over the competition: history, single-gender education, academic excellence, and association with a global community.
We focused on building the brand(s) from the ground up, making contact with prospective families, and leading them down the path from awareness to enrollment. After redesigning the entire corporate brand identity system, we created a new website with integrated search engine optimization and inbound marketing.
Traffic on the website increased by 346% in the first year — resulting in more tours than ever with prospective families. This inevitably drove enrollment up locally and internationally. Additionally, the Schools were able to unify the individual boys and girls identities within the fabric of the Sacred Heart brand.
